Gates Millennium Scholar
cm
Channelview High School senior Christian Meza was recently chosen as recipient of the Gates Millennium Scholarship. However, this is not your ordinary scholarship. The Gates Program accepted less than 1 percent of the 53,000 students that applied. In addition, the full scholarship covers the entire costs of his Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees. He will attend the University of Texas at Austin in the fall. After he completes his undergraduate degree work, he will pursue his graduate degrees at the Univeristy of California-Berkley.
