Hello! My name is Jakob Walker, and I am in my fifth year of teaching. I have had the pleasure of teaching both 7th and 6th grade, and currently, I am dedicated to the 6th-grade World Cultures at Anthony Aguirre Junior High.
I am an active member of the AVID Site Team, contributing to the success of our AVID National Demonstration Campus. My academic background includes a Bachelor's Degree in History and a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Social Education, from the University of Houston. I aspire to further my education by earning a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction, focusing on Learning Design and Technology.
