Mr. Neiman Owens is extremely passionate about providing each student with a quality education and ensuring all students receive the skills needed to navigate their individual paths to success. He continues to lead and motivate robust teams of teachers and staff with the shared goal of developing a safe, nurturing, and positive atmosphere where young minds can excel at learning and life. Mr. Owens holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and a master’s degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University. He began his educational career at Alice Johnson Junior High of Channelview ISD, where he proudly served as an eighth grade math teacher for seven years. After his tenure at Alice Johnson Junior High, he began serving as an assistant principal for Anthony Aguirre Junior High of Channelview ISD. Mr. Owens has a total of thirteen years in education and six years in administration. Mr. Owens is supported by his wife, Alexandria Wilkerson-Owens, and their young son.
