I am Mrs. Brown, and I am delighted to serve as your 8th Grade English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR) teacher. I firmly believe that the classroom should be an environment where all students feel accepted, welcomed, and encouraged to excel. Consequently, this academic year will feature engaging and interactive lessons and activities designed to enable students to showcase their unique talents and perspectives.

In addition to my role as an educator, I bring a wealth of academic and professional experience. I am an Internationally Board-Certified Christian Counselor and have earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Humanities and a Master of Science degree in Organizational Management and Leadership. Furthermore, I hold a Master of Education degree and am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education with a specialization in Higher Education Administration. I am on track to graduate as Dr. Brown in April 2025.
