About Me

As an Educator I believe we have the hardest but most satisfying job in the world. More importantly as a Music Educator, I have the opportunity to create an experience for children that can be fun and enjoyable, an appreciation of music for students of any age.

There is Power in Music! With it, we can teach our students not only the enjoyment of music, but also the lessons we all come to learn in life.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to hold a number of professional roles including substitute music teacher, private music instructor, and music performer. Through these experiences, I have been fortunate enough to educate a diverse group of middle school and high school students who functioned well beyond their minimum expectations.

Prior to coming to Alice Johnson, Mr. Lehew has taught in Clear Creek ISD, Crosby ISD, and most recently, Splendora ISD. I have been teaching for over a decade now and have enjoyed every moment of it. When not in school, Mr. Lehew loves to hangout with friends and travel as often as he can. Mr. Lehew is also a part time minister (mostly weddings and small gatherings) and holds the rank of Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.
