I was born and raised in Amarillo, TX. I graduated from Highland Park High School, and attended West Texas A&M University the following year.  I then made a move to Houston to attend the University of Houston-Downtown, and received a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I continued my education and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Human Biology, and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Texas Chiropractic College.

After practicing chiropractic for several years, and the birth of my son, I decided I wanted to teach. This is my ninth year at Channelview High School. I am excited about this opportunity to bring my passion for learning and educating to our youth. I aim to aid in the growth of each of my students and further enrich their desire to join healthcare professionals in the 21st century workforce. My primary goal is to aid them in setting and achieving their goals. I want to inspire my students to take full advantage of the wonderful opportunities they all have.
