Intent to Apply for an External Grant

Grant Submission Approval
To ensure district procedures are followed, the Department of Federal Programs should be notified in advance of your intent to submit a grant application or request for funding.

Instructions for all external grants:
Prior to applying for a grant, all Channelview ISD employees are required to complete all of the following steps:

  1. Review the grant process.

  2. Complete and submit the Intent to Apply for an External Grant Application form - a link to the form is available here.

  3. Notify the Department of Federal Programs upon receipt of notification of grant award: patricia.glaeser@cvisd.org

NOTES:
*If you are applying for a Channelview ISD Education Foundation Grant, you do not need to submit the Intent to Apply for an External Grant application form.

** Intent to Apply for an External Grant application form should be submitted to the Department of Federal Programs at a minimum of 15 days prior to the grant application deadline.

***Make sure that you have received principal/director approval prior to submitting the Intent to Apply for an External Grant application form. Principal/director approval form can be found here.

****If curriculum or instruction is a part of the grant, please get pre-approval from LaKeisha LeBlanc, Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning, before submitting the Intent to Apply for an External Grant application form. The Teaching and Learning approval form can be found here.

*****If technology is a part of the grant, please get pre-approval from Michael Sanchez, Executive Director of Technology, before submitting the Intent to Apply for an External Grant application form. The technology approval form can be found here.
