Welcome to 4th Grade! My name is Mrs. D. Ibarra and I'm beyond excited to be your child's teacher this school year. I have been blessed to be a part of the McMullan family for the past five years.
I was born in McAllen, Texas, a small town in the Rio Grande Valley near the Mexico/United States border. I was brought up in a Hispanic home where hard work and perseverance were at the forefront of our family values. I've been happily married for twenty years and have three amazing children. I graduated from the University of Houston-Downtown and received my Bachelors Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in 2017. I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family and friends. I love shopping and drinking coffee at any given time of the day.
I’m extremely passionate about teaching and making sure that I not only establish a great relationship with my students but with my parents as well, after all, we are one team. Hard work and perseverance is something I strongly believe in and like to instill in each of my students. Giving up is never an option in our classroom. Let's make this 2024-2025 school year a success!
