Our Channelview High School Varsity Debate students qualified for State this past weekend. We are extremely proud of them as they dominated semi-finals in all the events they entered.
Their next stop will be Bellaire High School on October 6th and 6th. Best of luck Falcons!
- Geena Torres, Junior- placed 4th in Informative Speaking, and 2nd Place in Informative Speaking
- Nathalie Vitan, Junior - placed 6th in Original Oratory
- Davin Sims, Junior - placed 4th in Original Oratory, and 5th place in Original Oratory
- Hannah Robinson, Senior - Finalist in Student Congressional Debate, placed 4th in Original Oratory, and 4th Place in Poetry, 4th Place Poetry
- Aleyda Hernandez, Junior- SWEPT Informative Speaking - 1st Place Informative Speaking, 1st Place Informative Speaking AND Qualified for TFA State in March.
