On Saturday, February 17th, over one hundred CHS students attended the Regional Visual Arts Scholastic Event (V.A.S.E.) at Barbers Hill High School. Throughout the course of the school year, students in the Visual Arts department work to create original artwork to take to compete with at this competition. Student not only show their artwork for judging but also complete an interview with their respective judge. At the end of the day, the CHS Visual Arts department and their students walked away with on hundred and nineteen entries with a rating of 4 (highest and best rating), earning one hundred and nineteen gold medals.
