This letter is to inform you that your child has been identified to attend a summer school

program for PK-2 grade students to provide an opportunity to grow in their literacy skills

before the start of the school year.

The CISD Jumpstart Program will be four days a week from Monday through

Thursday. Students must attend 90 percent of the days, or be absent no more than 2

days. This summer program is intended to provide an opportunity for students to grow in

their literacy skills before the start of the school year.

Location: Hamblen Elementary

Dates: July 15, 2024 through July 25, 2024

Monday through Thursday only, no classes on Fridays

Hours: 7:45 am -3:15 pm

Breakfast and lunch are available for all children between the ages of 1-18.

Transportation to and from the school will be provided free of charge, if needed, for those

students who live in the Channelview ISD attendance zone.
